Installing expansion vessel

by abloke » Wed Mar 19, 2008 9:39 am

Hi all. I want an expansion vessel installed. Will the incoming mains pipework need to be flushed to prevent debris getting into the vessel?
Thanks

Expansion vessel for central heating or hot water ?

Shouldn't need flushing as this is drinking water.

ONLY IF YOU INTRODUCE DEBRIS (METAL CUTTINGS, SOLDER AND FLUX ETC) DURING THE INSTALLATION.
