Installing Room Thermostats with Baxi 105e

by Ninja_1980 » Sat Dec 08, 2007 8:05 pm

Hi

This is my 1st post.

I have just moved into a Victorian house with a Baxi Combi 105e boiler. There is currently no room thermostats anywhere in the house. To save on heating bills, I was thinking of installing a thermostat in the living room.

Has anyone got any advice on a suitable unit to purchase??

Thanks

any roomstat will do just follow the wiring instructions in you baxi manual, be careful though, if you are not confident about electics it may be wise to find someone to do it for you

Wireless stats are easier to install as the sender unit can be placed anywhere in the house without having to worry about wires.

The receiver is straightforward to wire into the boiler, but please only if you are sure about working with mains voltages.

Have a look at a Towerstat RF-BM remote wireless plug-in room thermostat .
This will plug straght into the boiler and save on any wiring.
