Insulating a log cabin

Post by mps2006 » Sun Jun 10, 2007 12:43 pm

Hi I need to insulate a log cabin in my garden for use as a home office.
Can you recommend an effective way (i.e easiest) of doing this? Standard studwork would be difficult to fix securely to the external wooden wall.

Many thanks, Mark.

You can but sheets of thermal board from builders merchants and simply screw the boards to the timber of the cabin. Thermal board is a sheet of plasterboard backed by 50mm of insulation.
