Hi Has anyone ever heard of putting insulation under a screeded floor in a conservatory, as a friend of mine asked me to fit radiators and lay a slate floor in the conservatory but the floor cheeps cracking and the builders have said they will not take the floor up a second time to relay it as it is not needed and it is normal to make up the levels using insulation, but i need to lay a slate floor on top of the cracked floor and am not happy with there veiws, and there quick fix repair ideas. As i have never put screed on top of insulation without reinforcing the screed. Can anyone help with some valid advise.
