Trustmark and the NHIC
iron/copper conflict
We have an old house which had galvanised hot and cold water tanks and pipework. The cold water tank leaked so we replaced the water storage system with a fortic type copper tank. We now find the immersion heater element fails after a short time, eg a year, so we wonder if there is a quick fix to stop the electrolysis or whatever it is from wearing through heating elements in this direct system
