hi radiators upstairs are warm not red hot though and down stairs are cooler or cold the pump sounds like its running but if memory serve s me it is not as noisy could it be the pump is slowing down so it doesnt have the power to feed all

came in tonite and the radiators that were cold this am were now hot and 1 upstairs was cold so bled them all and everything is hot could it just have been an air lock as quite a bit of air came out

i know sounds like a comedy sketch but after a while turned off heating and on again now the down stairs are cold again and the upstairs are hot any ideas

sounds like an intermittent fault with pump - the impeller may be loose or could be getting stuck - replace pump and all should be fine.

fitted new pump exactly the same as come off but still have problem of that if hw and ch are on together a few of downstairs radiators are cool or cold but if i turn ch off all rads get hot so ?
