jammed window lock

hi i have a bathroom window which has a deadlock and is jammed closed so i cannot open the window. The deadlock key rotates in the hole and does nothing, i have tried plusgas and pushing/moving the window as far as i can but nothing seems to work? help anyone got any ideas?
