Karilel Electric Radiators

by Gussy33 » Sun Mar 07, 2010 7:01 pm

I had several Karilel electric radiators installed in my home last year. Three of them, within the space of two months, have now stopped producing heat - the relevant lights are showing that there is a power supply but there's no heat coming out.
Karilel has gone bust so there's no recourse on the guarantee.
Any suggestions as to what might be causing this?

Are you sure their web site is still up (Google "kalirel.co.uk/index.html"). Likely any electrician will be able to test the unit but unless one has one in front of one it is not something one could do remote. If the element has blown then unless there are replacements available nothing much can be done.
But seems it was all done through dealers so maybe you can find one who still has spares?
