Kink in 8mm Pipe - Will it be ok to use or will it Restrict Water?

by Zacccc » Wed Nov 12, 2014 4:35 pm

Trying to feed 8mm pipe through a hole I'd drilled in the floorboard I managed to get a slight kink in the pipe in spite of using a 8mm bender spring - although the pipe isn't fully kinked. It was already linked to the new radiator. Do I need to take it off the radiator and try again with a new length of pipe or will the water supply still be ok through the slight kink?

Don't know without seeing it. You'd be better off using 10mm as I suggested previously.

Thanks for getting back to me. Yeah, bit of a daft question I suppose. Anyway, I've replaced it now with a new length of pipe and managed to do it without kinking it!
