Kitchen Cooker Hood for inside a chimney

Post by shipcom » Thu Aug 16, 2007 10:30 am

Does anyone known where to get a cooker hood that will fit inside a chimney (probably 9 to 12 inches deep) ?
Also - should I exhaust up through chimney - or block off completely (chimney not being used elsewhere in house) and exhaust out through back outer wall?
Appreciate any help as I am novice.

Go to http://www.awin1.com/pclick.php?p=14404 ... 071&m=1228 and search through the hoods. Ducting lits are also available but its not a good idea to go more than 1m with the exhaust from a cooker as the hot air condenses within the pipe and the water runs back down or gathers in any bends. Go straight out when possible.
