kitchen planning
Hi I am new on here and don't know if I am posting in the correct place ?? I am after information on kitchen planning, specifically I need to know if a kitchen sink can be placed at the end of a run of base units and if so the legal guidelines in doing so ? . Hope someone would be kind enough to help me please :) thank you .
Re: kitchen planning
There are no specific regulations regarding positions of sinks other than its proximity to socket outlets. Just use common sense to work out how best to fit the sink.
Many kitchens actually break the regulations regarding how close sockets can be simply because of the size of the room however, sockets should be a minimum of 300mm from either side of the sink.
Re: kitchen planning
I didn't know that there are regulations on the distance between your sink and your socket.
