Knocking down the walls

by firapara » Thu Aug 30, 2012 10:47 am

Hi guys,

I am buying a house and there are two walls with cracks, I am planning on knocking them down and rebuilding. Can somebody please give me an approximate price for this type of work?

I understand that a site visit is required for a proper quote, but I am not able to do this now.

I have attached the floor plans with the walls in question marked in red. The walls are 10cm think, are not weight bearing and are made of aerated concrete bricks.

Thanks very much

Cant really give you a price,it depends on many factors like skip hire, parking, electrical points may need moving, plumbing etc
Best call builders that friends recommend, and get at least 3 quotes to compare the prices.
