Laminate over carpet?

by Ira » Sun Jul 13, 2008 5:43 pm

Hi, I am about to ask an absolutely silly question, but I really have no clue...: Can laminate be layed over a carpet, or I must remove the carpet first? My carpet is the berber loop pile type, really flat.
Thank you for advise,
:)

Laminate over carpet

How long has this lasted ? Is the carpet damaged. Did you glue the edging strips to the skirting ? I am considering this at present and fear that a liquid spill could seep through the carpet and make a right smelly mess !
