Leaking thermostatic radaitor valve

by p4t » Wed Jan 07, 2009 12:05 am

hi,

a thermostatic valve on one om my raduiators has sprung a leak. I removed the head and noticed the water was dripping from around the pin. I tightened the nylon nut holding the pin in place which has seemed to stop the leak.

Is this good enough or would you recommend replacing the whole thing

many thanks

p4t,
Leave well alone and see if it leaks again.
