light switchers

do light switchers need an earth wire connection as my light switchers do not have themas the house is 1966 old could you tell me does the light switchers need rewiring as they do not have earth cable in them only in the lights

HI noneck49,
They did not used to wire CPC/earths to the lighting circuits back in the days of yo!
The problem is that more and more metal accessories are being used these days.
So stick to plastic and double insulated accessories or consider a re-wire.

not if you stick with plastic switches, if you want metal front plates they must be earthed,
