Living in france chauffage

Post by dayday1986 » Thu Nov 13, 2008 10:13 pm

Can anybody help me i am living in france and just installed a chauffage to heat the hot water for the house and the valve that you put on the coldwater inlet is constantly leaking, the valve is designed to release the pressure that builds up in the tank but like i say it is constanly dribbling out water about a liter or so an hour.

Its a long time since I did french but doesnt chauffage just translate to 'heating'..... so Im not entirely sure what you are referring to.

Changing the valve cant hurt though.

the chauffage i am refering to is the tank that heats the hot water for the building, the pressure valve is brand new but it is constantly blowing i have wasted nearly 4 cubic meters of water in just over 3 weeks
