loft conversion ammendments
i am renovating a flat i own that has an old loft conversion. i have pulled down the ceiling and all walls and can see that i can make the ceiling higher by at least a meter, and the walls can be made wider as well. this obviouslt affects the roof structure and strength. Do i need to inform building control or is it ok to proceed if i strengthen the structure but at different points to the existing one
