    Postby RS » Fri Nov 14, 2008 5:01 pm

Hi I have some upvc windows but they are loose in the brickwork you can move them about 2mm

Does any one have any ideas how to secure them?

2mm is not much movment, check the screws each side of the window are done up tight, otherwise drill holes each side using sds 6.5 drill bit and fix with 100mm gold tap con bits, hope this helps.[/code]

are the frames silicon sealed externally, this prevents movement usually, check the fixings are tight
