    Hi,

I have an outbuilding that I am planning to renovate and I would like to lower the floor with 60 cm by excavating the existing concrete foundation and create a new foundation. I have a Structural engineering guy coming around to look at it but would like to hear from anyone that have any experince in this and have an idea of what the best way forward would be?

    Thanks
    Linda

it would be quite difficult and complex to lower the foundation,Why not raise the ceiling and roof instead
