hi

the following is an extract from a book and i quote:

SIZING THE MAIN TAILS

"The new load on the existing consumer unit will be 137.4A. From the IEE regulations, the cable size is 25mm^2".

It's just, i can't find a table in the Regs to satisfy this statement??

help please...

livewire,
don't know the origins of your calculation or the book that has given the information/example to you, for your result, but if I'm right in my thinking. Have a look at OSG page 28 Table 4.1 and BS7671:2008 page 134 Table 54.8 could be of help.
