make good quarry tiles after dropping chimney breast

Post by texteditor » Sat Nov 15, 2014 11:17 am

I am planning on taking up quarry tiles from around the side walls of my kitchen to make good where I have dropped the chimney breast.
Any advice on lifting quarry tiles and what to bed them in in their new position?
Will I need a damproof membrane?
Is there a paint on membrane?
Thanks in advance for any advice, texteditor.

you can paint a waterproof paint like aquapruff on the floor, then lay the tiles with sand and cement
