Means of escape from loft
We have converted a loft and now have a dispute with BI as they seem to have changed their view. Originally our staircase down to a fireproofed looby at first floor and exit through window to a flat roof was accepted. Now the entire stairwell to ground floor seems to need protecting. The ground floor is open plan and so the whole ambience will be ruined. Has any one else been allowed an exit at first floor?
