I am putting up shelving and was wondering about what weight could these shelves hold if put direct into the plasterboard using these fixings.

hi, i don't rate them at all.
If it's a stud wall use hollow wall anchors. If it's dot"n"dab use masonary plugs and drill in to block wall behind board.
