Microban grout

Post by Allen » Tue Jan 15, 2008 2:03 pm

Can anyone help? I live in an area with very hard water and the grouting around the shower has gone badly marked and looks mouldy. On a previous posting, someone mentioned Microban. If I remove the old grout and regrout using Microban, will this really stay white or would I need to seal it also?

I have a mould problem in the corners of the plastic bath seal despite our frantic attempts to keep everything brilliant white.

Hi there to be honest i just do not use white grout anymore as it just shows to many marks, stains, mildew etc. I would always try and use something a little similar. So if it was a white tile i use a grey grout which gives a nice effect or a sandstone.
Hope this helps.
