Minimum width for toilet ?

Postby dave200 » Wed Jan 28, 2009 12:20 pm

Could anyone please point me in the direction of the minimum width required for a toilet? There is a recess / deep alcove in the bathroom, and I am not sure that it is wide enough to fit a toilet (not enough elbow room for sitting down). Thanks

dave200,
Roca make a range of narrow toilets but if the alcove is too narrow for elbow clearance there seems little point in fitting a toilet.
