This is my first posting so I apologise in advance if this is a stupid question! Can anyone explain how to recognise the difference between asphalt, roof felt, and built up mineral felt or are they the same thing? I have had some builders around having a look at our flat roof and each one has used a different term for what we have – I’d feel a lot better about things if I could tell the difference between them myself the next time I get some one round for a quote. Any pointers/tips about how to tell the difference would be greatly appreciated.
