MIXER TAP

hi my mixer tap (hot) wont turn off when i try to turn it off the tap just keeps turning but doesnt close i noticed that the valve (i think ) seems to have popped up dont know if i need new tap or if this one can be fixed

possibly just needs a replacement washer.
