New bathroom mixer valve - low temp hot water

by oconnor » Mon Aug 16, 2010 7:56 am

We are doing up our bathroom and have just had our bath taps replaced with a mixer valve. The tempreture of the hot water is much lower than before. Plumber says its becasue we've switched to a mixer valve which automatically controls the temprature and stops the water getting too hot and seems to think little can be done. Any advice on the problem and how to resove?

oconnor,
Have a look at the tap instructions you should be able to adjust the thermostatic control to give a higher temperature.
