An installer would typically purchase a combi boiler for 500 to 850+vat with say another 75 to 150 for bits and pieces like pipework, valves, flue and condensate drain etc.
It would probably take a couple of days to install at say 160 to 200 a day.
What you would pay would based on the above and be influenced by his profit margin and the shortage of plumbers in your area.
