New Hot Water Cylinder in Open System - Can it be Used in Pressurised System?

Post by billobach181 » Tue Sep 30, 2014 1:20 pm

I recently fitted a new Gravity Feed Hot Water Cylinder in my Open Vented CH system off a Kingfisher II Boiler. I am concidering buying a new pressurised System Boiler and would like to know if I can keep my New Cylinder for use in the Pressurised System i.e.there will be no problems with the cylinder coil. The cylinder is top of the range unit.

Hi billobach

The cylinder will be fine, they're made to take it. The coil is under the same pressure as the radiators.
