new installation for converted maisonettes

by ukpound » Fri Apr 06, 2007 5:36 pm

After the initial installation of the 2nd fix to these two maisonettes EDF has asked that the top apartment have its own main fuse as it currently shares its main fuse with the downstairs flat.

Using the same bulk head does anyone know what the procedure is and what materials should be used to make this new arrangement.

Ask the tech people at EDF as there are different possibilities.
EG where are meters for each flat?
Is there a 'sub-main' to consumer unit upstairs, with switch fuse down stairs as usually reqd?
they may change service head cut-out for a double unit or fit a new one upstairs.....
not enough info to suggest action
