Go to the projects section and look under electrical. Replacing a light fitting is the most popular project on the website and the most frequently asked question in the forum but no-one bothers looking for the answer they just keep posting the same question again and again and again and again and again and again.............................................................

From rose I would connect both reds together.
Connect one Black to brown on new lamp.
Other Black to Blue on new lamp.
Green and Yellow to earths.
If that didn't work then I would start ringing things out.
As pointed out some good pictures in projects.
