U CAN ONLY SPUR FROM THE EXISTING SOCKET IN THE LIVING
ROOM IF THIS SOCKET IS ON THE RING MAIN . AND THE NUMBER OF SOCKETS U COULD HAVE IS
ONLY 1 DOUBLE OR 2 SINGLES . IF YOUR FACE PLATE SOCKETS ARE METAL THEN AN EARTH WOULD B CONNECTED TO FACEPLATE EARTH
TERMINAL AND METAL BACK BOX TERMINAL.

Hi Rambo; under the regulations; you cannot spur off of a spur (Except where a single socket is being added from an existing spurred single socket), you can only take a spur from the ring - You would need to add the living room socket to the main ring and then spur off of it.

Provision of a switched fused spur is not an accepted practice.
