new upvc tilt & turn windows and doors

I have just had new upvc tilt & turn windows and new upvc doors fitted. Should I be getting water in through outside seals into first wells in window frames and door frames when I wash them with a hosepipe. Not all this water runs out through drainage holes. Can anyone advise please.
