No socket or lights working in Conservatory

by jaywhu » Tue Mar 25, 2008 2:06 pm

Maybe something obvious. The lights and the sockets in our conservatory are not working all of a sudden.

I have replaced the fuses etc but still no joy? Any idea?

Hi I would think the supply for conservatory comes from house ring circuit via an unswitched fused spur next to an existing socket nearby, it will look like a blank plate but has a 13A fuse holder in flush with front plate,
this can then run to sockets in cons. plus via another fused spur which fuses down to 5A for the lights, have a look at most likely place you would take the supply from if fitting the cons. yourself, happy hunting,
