No Water at all - Help!

by Dazed and Confused » Tue Dec 02, 2008 11:57 pm

Live in a 2nd (top) floor flat (about 10 years old). Water cut out yesterday afternoon after working fine AM. Checked with neighbours and their water supply is fine - it seems mine is the only one which has failed. Checked stop-cock in the flat and in the basement of the block and both are open so no reason why cold water should not be getting up to my flat (whereupon it is heated - got a Megaflow). Checked with the water company and they confirmed that i have not been cut off (bills all paid so no surprise).

I have discounted frozen pipes. Though it is cold right now - neighbours all have their water running. This has never happened before and is extremely frustrating.

Any suggestions before I call the plumber in?
