NO WATER AT HOT WATER TAPS All aspects of plumbing questions and answers, help, tips and information

Can anybody help,
Went to turn the hot water tap on and no water, went up the attic and found the tank was dry, found ball cock valve was stuck closed, freed valve, tank filled with water, hot water tank filled with water a lot of bubbling from the air , went to turn the hot taps on, No Water flowing out of taps, stripped gate valve, all ok, fitted hose to cold tap and hot and opened taps,still did not work, any help please

Airlock most likely, If a mixer tap, put thumb over end and turn on hot fully. Open cold slowly and force water back up the hot. Count to 5 then let go.

If separate taps, use a hose or similar.

sounds like it's airlocked, try backfilling again.
