old wallcovering

by jimmywarwick » Wed Sep 30, 2009 3:45 pm

Hi.....can anyone tell me the name the old lino type wall covering that was used on old houses.
i work with a team of decoraters, and come across this stuff now and again its practically impossible to get off, it seems to be stuck on with some kind of bitumen type adhesive.
all of us of racked our brains and no-one can come up with a name for it.
be really grateful if someone knows the name of this stuff.
thanks

It is definately LINCRUSTA. Put this name in Google & it will give many links. Google "www.lincrusta.com" & you may be able to contact them with your problem.
