One pipe system

by dbrown » Thu Apr 10, 2008 11:05 am

I have two questions. We are unable to change our one pipe system as it will cost far too much money as the house is large so have to make do. We used to have a potterton floor standing boiler which was very effective and the radiators used to work really well. This boiler was changed to a wall mounted Potterton boiler of a high spec and the radiators do not work as efficiently. We recently changed 3 old radiators for 3 new ones at the end of the loop. Where before the old radiators did heat up (not fantastically) the new ones do not at all. Would it help if the pump is replaced?

Underfloor heating in conservatory - what sort of underfloor heating could I have to work with a one pipe system that is efficient and does the job?

Thanks.
