    painting newly plastered walls

    Postby thebiggestfella » Thu Nov 11, 2010 2:52 pm

i am having every room in my house skimmed, and as a lot of rooms seem to be already dry, i started to paint, trouble is i am having my roof replaced at the same time, and water seems to have got into one of the walls, so i now have a couple of dark patches on one wall. what should i do? will it go away?

Posted in wrong section. Anyway let it dry out you may get a water mark that will need treated. Get some stainblock fast and effective or you could use undercoat which will take a while to dry then recoat the paint work as normal.
