painting on new plaster
I have newly plastered walls, I was told to put size on them befor painting which i have done, now i have been told not too will this cause me a problem? Should i use size or not?
Hi jaynee, you should not have put size on the walls unless you were going to wallpaper. What you need to do now is to wash all of it off and make sure you get as much off as possible. Otherwise you will have problems with the paint bubbling and not sticking properly. What you should have done is to put a mist coat on them which is a thinned down coat of emulsion. Then decorate as normal.
