Part fill cavity wall insulation

by mikleJ » Fri Feb 04, 2011 7:21 pm

:? My house has part fill insulation. A 500mm pad of insulation pinned to the inner leaf of the cafity, leaving a 500mm gap all around the house. The house is around 12 years old

The house is in an exposed postion and suffers from draughts and heat loss. Tried to find an installer who would fill the 500mm gap with no luck. Any ideas wheer to look to find someone, or am I wasting my time looking?

mikleJ,
Stick with things as they are you have a good type of construction for an exposed location. Try to find the source of draughts and correct them inside.
