patio door jammed shut

" :cry: my patio door is jammed shut. It has top and bottom levers. I have taken the handle off the door and found that the " middle bit "? revlolves freely. Can not budge the door.

Can you provide more info? is it PVC or Ali? A picture might help too

The patio door is upvc although the key mechanism works . The lever mechanism will not budge. there for can not open the patio door.
