    patio pointing cracking

    Postby donnybaggieboy » Sat Jun 05, 2010 2:02 pm

i have just pointed between my garden slabs and it has already cracked and loose after a week iused a mix of 3to 1 building sand and cement and put it in as a wet mix.it is very frustrating as most of it is still ok .should i re-do it using sharp sand instead of building sand.the patio is used for foot traffic only

    donnybaggieboy,

You should heal this problem by using mixture of sharp sand and cement.By mixing it the cracks are covered up and removed from the floor.......

    Hope this information helps you........
