Picture hanging

by DaveClucas » Sun Oct 21, 2007 10:29 pm

Hi All,

I have just purchased a timber frame house which has full insulation. I want to hang some pictures up and am worried about using the normal methods of spring and also butterfly type fixings which separate behind the wall making the fixing secure.

Does anyone have any tips on which type is best. I thought the redidrive type best but wasn't sure if the wooden frame would take it and make it secure.

Has anyone used them and are they as effective as they say? I just would hate to ruin the insulation behind.

Many thanks for any assistance you may be able to give an idiot lol.

Cheers

Dave

Hi DaveClucas,
I always use hallow wall anchors on stud walls.
Best of Luck
