plaster preparation

by cbeall » Tue Sep 04, 2007 12:07 pm

Hi there,

I've just booked a chemical damp proof course to be done at my property. I'm leaving most of the job to the professionals but having seen that it would cost me £700 to hack the plaster off the wall, I thought I'd do that bit myself.

Can someone tell me what height from the floor I need to remove the plaster to and what the best tools are for the job? Any other advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance.

Take a look at any one of our damp projects and ring the phone number for Property Repair Systems. They give free, no obligation advice and we recommend them. They will tell you what you need to do (if anything) and will also be able to supply you with anything you need to do it with but will certainly not try to sell you anything you don't need
