plaster splashes on brickwork

Hi, need some advice on how to remove some plaster splashes from house brick surface. It's a small area of about 1sq mtr, which i want to be left exposed for effect above a wide entrance door. This area of brickwork is internal. If i found any mortar splashes what method could i use to remove these. Thankyou for any advice. Tooly.

you can use a brick acid to remove stains,most builders merchants stock it.
