Trustmark and the NHIC
plaster wont stick to old walls
[size=18][b][b][u]HELLLPPP NEED A URGENT REPLY[/u][/b][/b]......i have bought an :? old house and have tried to have it plastered..but the plaster wont stick to certain walls and ceilings...the plasterer has never come across this before and his tried his tricks of the trade...but the plaster is coming off within an hour of applying it.....why is this hapening and how can we/he get the plaster to stick...(there is no damp) bonding substance has been used but it just wont stay on....any ideas????[/size]

Your are going to have to give us more information. What surface finish are you trying to apply plaster to? Are you applying onto lime plaster? Has the surface been primed with waterproof pva? What plaster is being applied? end
