PLASTERBOARD ONTO EXTERNAL WALL
What type of adhesive can I use to secure plasterboard onto polystyrene insulation on an external wall?
McLean,
You could use a dry lining adhesive but I would strongly recommend you use plasterboard with the insulation already bonded to it. If you are lining solid external walls then you are very likely to get problems with condensation forming behind the plasterboard. Even if the walls are cavity walls make sure there is no cold bridging or moisture bridging where the wall ties are situated. end
