Please help with strange kind of slight shock waves through

Please can any one help/advise me as to what’s causing this?

I just need to know what may be causing a strange problem concerning my house.

I have been feeling slight tremors through the ground when standing on the ground floor.
At first I did think I was imaging it but now am quite sure this is happening. It occurs occasionally & when sitting on the sofa, sometimes you feel it through that & also through the floor in the lounge & kitchen. Sometimes when in bed there seems to be this similar kind of shock wave feeling as though there is a slight smooth shaking of the bed. This I assume is the same thing occurring because it is transferring through the ground throughout the house.
I`m concerned because the tiles that are built around covering the large waste pipe from my toilet have come apart where they were plastered( in a box way to conceal the large waste pipe).
I felt that may be it is some kind of subsidence etc?
I live in a one-bedroom house built in early 1980. There is only a ground floor & 1st floor where the bathroom & bedroom are.
    :?:
    Thank You

Where is your property? Are there any major transport routes nearby?
